Wonderful hoppy aroma, the Simcoe hops are very resenteable and goes very well with the rest of the hops, theres also notes of caramel. Wauw what a great and exellent tasty flavour of hops, what can I say hops hops and more hops, this one ends up little sweet malty, notes of caramel and little alcohol on the tongue. the finish is very bitter and light dry. This one is a very powerfull IPA, what a great taste in that bottle. beeranarchist (185), Aalborg, Denmark
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 6, 2007 Bottle. Orange, hazy with white head that disappears rather quickly. The hoppy aroma has hints of pine, citrus and a little bit of caramel. I just love the flavour, you can taste hops about 0.1 second before you drink it! Medium bodied, full flavored. Bitter, but nice balance. The haziness is the only thing I don’t love about this beer. thomat (666), Göteborg, Sweden

Lots of hops and fruity taste. Medium body with a very long, bitter afterstaste. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Clear amber colour. Creamy head. Huge hop aroma with grassy, grapefruity, earthy backbone. Fresh hops it seems-grapey flavour-dominate over a subtle caramelly sweetness, that would have been properly sensed if not for the huge amount of hops. Now, I forgot what hops were used, but it seems that loads of (semi)high alpha hops were used for bitterness. The bitterness was a bit edgy, and maybe too much for some. Medium bodied. This is a beer with profile and I like it as such. After is immensely dry. Wonderful beer! BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

Hazy dark brown look with notes of grapes and grassy hops. Very freshhoppy in the taste, pines, sweetmalty and citrusy. Must taste it again and I’m sure it will get better notes. LeopoldStoch (201), Green, Ohio, USA

Lots of hops in the nose with some earthy undertones coming through. The taste is very earthy...as it has been with most of the foreign ipas I have sampled...but it was still tasty! Lots of bitter hops in the taste as well. Alcohol is not really present. Overall a really solid ipa that I wish I had easier access to. Thanks Bager!!
