Commercial Description:
Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

Courtesy dsnowden. Thanks for sharing Dan!! Pours a hazy gold, with a small white head. Very floral aroma, the hops were subtle, but pleasant and inviting smelling. The flavor was slightly unusual. It had a bunch of clove and other spices to go with the slightly bitter hops. Not your typical IPA, but was refreshingly interesting and very tasty. Finish was crisp and clean, anothewr gem from these guys.

Poured a glowing orange color, Aroma is odd. Described by Ibrew 2or3or more as "green" which seems to work. There seems to be a dominant grassy, hay like component, yielding slightly to a toasted maltiness. Flavor is a bit more intense than the aroma inidcates. The hops come through a bit stronger here. Nice toasted flavor on the finish.

Light golden amber colour with a fast diminishing head. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with some fruity esters, and a hint of grapefruit and pine from the hops. Slightly warming and a bit dry finish.

Golden amber in colour, long lasting off-white coloured head, great lacing. The aroma was incredibly hoppy, grapefruit, floral, quite soft, some oranges. The flavour is again quite hoppy with oranges and grapefruits as the forefront, bread and a caramel sweetness take you into the finish. Dry and bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes very long, bitter and dry. This is an incredible IPA, so soft and smooth but very bitter and dry at the same time. Wonderful balance.

660ml bottle obtained in a trade with <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?U target=blank>MPA, thanks Mads.

660ml bottle (Porvoo Harvest/Dark Beer Festival 2007) cloudy orange, small head. huge full bodied english hoppy beer aroma, absolutely wonderful! alas the taste is excessively hopped, which detracts from the tasty malty backdrop. slightly marmitey
