Commercial Description:
Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

Bottle. Very nice apperance, almost orange with nice white head. Fruity and sweet flavor. Taste is also fruity with lemon distinction. I expected (and hoped for) more bitterness though.

Bottle@Home. Sweet malts almost cookie like aroma with strong hops, light floral and hints of maple syrup. Light hazy, amber color, yellowish firm head, good lace. Sweet, very bitter, loads of herbal hops, light floral, cookie notes and dry tea leaves. Mouthfeel is really a down point. Oily start and full with a harsh bitter dry finish.

Beautiful mahogany color; generous creamy head. It has a wonderful aroma, hoppy and fruity (Amarillo?), citrusy (bergamot). It has medium body strength, with a good caramel flavor, some residual sugars stick on the lips, and the fruity hops again; but the balance between sweetness and bitterness is perfect, and there is nothing to disturb here (like roasted malts or too much resins). Long final, the alcohol is gently warming the tongue. Deeply pleasant.

Hazy copper color. Nice hoppy, resiny aroma. Good malty body, not too thick, but with some sugars; powerful and aromatic hopping, citrusy. Aggressive, very well brewed, excellent.

Resiny hop aroma, full in the mouth, slightly biscuity malts with a touch of roastiness. Hints of sweetness in the caramel body, followed by resiny hops. Cheers to Óskar for this one.

22oz bottle, courtesy of fonefan (shared-trade with artusory). Thanks, Jan! Pours a hazy, ruby-orange color; off-white head with web-like lacing. Herbal, grassy hops in the aroma, with some sugar and slightly resiny notes. Medium-to-full, chewy mouthfeel: dense and resiny, grassy / herbal hop character first and foremost, with a solid belgian sugar and syrupy malt core; lively citrus and floral hops appear at mid-palate, filling out the hop profile. Complex and chewy IPA. Lengthy, grassy and herbal finish; nicely balanced.

Bottle from fonefan. Hazy, light amber body with a medium sized, off-white head, lasting cover. The aroma is light grapefruit, pine, just slightly catty, light raisins and cotton candy. The flavor is very lightly sweet, lightly bitter with plenty of orange, grapefruit, apricot, light bread, light caramel and a touch of berry. Refreshing. Medium body is ultra soft with gentle carbonation and a lightly bitter end. This isn’t an over-the-top IPA, but very quaffable and thoroughly enjoyable.

Bottle, thanks to Jeppe to bring this over to Belgium!
Clear, amber body. Rocky, off-white head (really a nice colour). The head diminishes quite fastly. Aroma of flowers, a lot of oranges, rose water, ... Very soft and natural aroma which is also very well balanced, but not that complex. Heavily bitter, moderately sweet initial flavour. Harshly bitter, lightly sweet finish. The bitterness is certainly more strong in the end and also somewhat drier, but overall there is an intense bitterness which kind of induces a one dimensional flavour, but there still is enough complexity in the bitterness. So I like this very much.
