| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Bottle at home from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. It has been a long time and this green bastard has been asked for over and over again. So nice that Mikkeller decided to brew it again. Thanx. The pour (In a Mikkeller Stella glass) is brown with red tones. The inch high head is off-white and stays where it is supposed to. The nose is new cutted lawn mover grass with citric notes in minor key topped with some malt and sugar. The american hopnotes are wunderschön. The taste is fresh round and relatively mild takin in mind the hoppy monster it is. Its sweetness is perfectly balanced with the bittersweet hops and leaves lot of room to the malty flavour to play around. The finish is sweet but bitter with a creamy and fulled body palate
Green gold - is like the Hulk - a bad ass in disguise - when the inside is revealed you have no chance but letting the monster drag you down..fantastic IPA MrGGen (243), Italy

Wonderful hoppy aroma, the Simcoe hops are very resenteable and goes very well with the rest of the hops, theres also notes of caramel. Wauw what a great and exellent tasty flavour of hops, what can I say hops hops and more hops, this one ends up little sweet malty, notes of caramel and little alcohol on the tongue. the finish is very bitter and light dry. This one is a very powerfull IPA, what a great taste in that bottle. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA

Very perfumy flloral hoppiness and a good dose of citrus. Holy citrus hops. A nearby friend said "I believe they have defined IPA" and that is very true. Killer citrusy finish. Wow is this good! fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Updated: Dec 14, 20092009-10-09, draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen, 9-5-8-5-17=44 Beautiful mahogany color; generous creamy head. It has a wonderful aroma, hoppy and fruity (Amarillo?), citrusy (bergamot). It has medium body strength, with a good caramel flavor, some residual sugars stick on the lips, and the fruity hops again; but the balance between sweetness and bitterness is perfect, and there is nothing to disturb here (like roasted malts or too much resins). Long final, the alcohol is gently warming the tongue. Deeply pleasant.
2007-05-11, draught at Københavnske Øldage 2007, 8-5-8-5-17=43 Hazy copper color. Nice hoppy, resiny aroma. Good malty body, not too thick, but with some sugars; powerful and aromatic hopping, citrusy. Aggressive, very well brewed, excellent. pilsnerrogge (1787), Finspång, Sweden
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 10, 2007 [bottle] Amber colour. Large head. Aroma is pure hop-juice; dried fruit, resin, pine, you know it, the usual IPA-stuff. Flavour is more resinous, pine-y hops. The bitterness lasts "forever". A great IPA for all the hop-heads out there (including me).
