Thanks a billion to Jannik for keeping a bit of this beauty for me and serving it perfectly. Unclear brown body with a beautiful red shine, topped with the creeeeeeeamiest beige head I have seen in a very long time, it leaves thick lacing (I dont see how this beer could have been more beautiful); The nose is as beautiful as the looks, lots of soft and flowery aromas, lots of depth as well as complexity and balance; The body is super soft and velvety textured, with a very pleasant balance; It moves very smoothly into a very long smooth finish, a pleasant bitterness appears and stays long, the hole thing mellows out in a alcohol sweet finish. FANTASTIC!!! If I would have had the chance to rate this beer at home I guess I would have rated it even higher.

Muddy amber, brown colour with a small dense tan head. Light malty sweet aroma with a hoppy pine and fruity note. Malty sweet flavor with a fruity herbal note. Dry, light sweet finish.

Draught @ Ølbaren. Dark reddish brown. Unclear. Dense brownish head. Sweetness, fruits, herbs, caramel, berries and light smoky notes in the aroma. Quite delicious. Flavour is very herbal and flowery. Berries and fruits is there as well. Light alcohol notes. Has a balanced bitterness in the end. Full bodied. I can understand why Mikkel and Kristian has changed the name from Humlefryyyd. No one with a little sense would want a beer like this mistakenly compared with a shitty Skands..

On tap. Happy I tastet it twice in one evening. I think I might have got the first glass poured. It was way way yeasty. But the others applauded - so I waited and tried again. Yummy!

[Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 6600] A hazy amber beer with a thick creamy long lasting orange head. The aroma is lovely hoppy with notes of grapefruit. The flavor is very sweet, but also very hoppy and with strong notes of caramel - almost everything is powerful except for a light roasted malty note in the back ground. Towards the end some woody notes appear, and makes the end somewhat dry. Even the alcohol burns slightly on the tongue and in the top of the throat. It is something like drinking a thick grassy caramel soup.

Draugth at...well, Ølbaren of course. Dark, cloudy with a shade of amber and a nice beige head. Aroma is hops, grass, caramel, clover, citrus, grandma’s lap and american redneck - nothing kinky about my associations, but definitively something kinky about the beer. It tastes of sunflower, grass, malt, sweetness and more, more, more. Thus I quenched 3 of these, before hurrying along to another appointment - unfortunately one with no Mikkeller. Why is life sometimes so cruel? A very well balanced beer.

Draught at Ølbaren. Dark brown - offwhite head. Very hoppy aroma, pine/grass, sweet malty, caramel, roasted, chokolate. Very powerfull, and very hoppy finish (dry) as a Mikkeller usually is. I live it.
