Bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Orland Park, IL: This poured a very pale yellow body with a small fizzy head. It has an aroma of old crabapples and citrus fruit with a light floral scent. The flavor is lemony, including pips, with a light pale malt, a trace of funk, and a floral bitterness that grows as you drink. Moderately bitter finish, quite dry. This would be a dandy warm weather brew if it cost less.

Bottle 33 cl. A hazy yellow colour with a white, somewhat foamy head. Has a sour aroma reminiscent of sour apples with hints of other fruits and flowers. The taste is a bit yeasty with components such as citrus fruits, apples and grain. Some hoppines turns up in the aftertaste. Quite good for a 4,5 % beer.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a crisp head.A bit cardboard like with a sour bitterness that lingers.Strange and interesting but not one of their best.

From the bottle the nose is sour apples reminiscent of proper cider or indeed classic gueuze. The flavours on the creamy palate are amazing. There’s a rounded cheesy oaty thing going on & then a spritzy, sour, long lemony finish, again putting me in mind of a gueuze. How they get all this going on in a 4.5% beer I do not know. I would score it higher but I’m not sure about the flavour in the main body, but that is a personal taste thing & not the brewer’s fault.

330 ml bottle from the Bayou. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium fluffy head. The aroma surprised me; lots of funky notes, light apples and malts and a bit of yeast. The flavor was nice; light citrus and apples, some funk, light bitter hops in the finish. Decent for sure.

Bottle: The aroma is extremely funky with lots of sweaty feet, lemon, hay, and light floral notes. The sweaty feet is just way over the top for me and begins to cross the line of being funky to somewhat disgusting . It pours a hazy dull yellow/gold with a small white head. The flavor starts with light apple and lemon up front. The finish has some mild floral hops and there is a plastic aftertaste. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Hazy yellow pour with a moderate head. Funky aroma (barnyard) that almost turned me off. Sour bread taste but thin. I found it more sour than most people mention.

It’s a hazy pale yellow colored beerwith a big white head. Is disappears quickly. The aroma is very fruity like citrus and grapes. A little bread. The taste of dough, bread. Fruits citus and grapes. A little sourness and dry. The aftertaste is like bread, dry with some bitter.
