Noe of floverish hops and fruit. Hoppy flavour with grape and citrus. The finih is more dry and pleasant bitter. Light bodied. A crisp and fine brew. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2009 Bottle thanks to notalush. Very, very pale straw coloured beer. Aroma is funky and fruity. Softly wheaty with a touch of soft sourness. Loads of fruity esters. Smells like a mix of red grapes, berries and herbs. It smells very juicy fruity but on the palate it is bone dry. Sort of a minerally dryness with a touch of light funk over the soft fruity nose. A touch of apricot and peach and a cologne-like lingering muskiness. It’s quite the interesting brew. eaglefan538 (2369), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Bottle from SL. Pour is a fairly clear (where is the haze, I want my highly unfiltered haze) pale golden-yellow color, weak head and lacing for the most part (esp. for style). The lacing was moderate. The aroma was slight brett hay-like funk, some cherries, light grains. The flavor was bretty funk, tart punch but nothing offensively sour, nice pale malts and tart cherries. Flavor and body were both relatively thin/light, but a nice refreshing drinker. aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a small but lasting white head. Aromas of funky sour dusty cobwebs and some brett. Flavor is lightly sour, somewhat tart, and acidic. Crisp and lightly carbonated. I could drink more of this. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Pros: Long lasting foam, sharp color. Nice balance between the various elements. Impressively brewed for a hard to make style.
Cons: Doesn’t seem to have a very pure core. Finish is really short.
Overall, this ale provides many delights. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Bright golden pour with an ephemeral beige head. aroma of sour funk. It smells worse then that. Near medium body. Fizzy carbonation. Suddenly it’s refreshing. It’s actually clean, if sweat sox can be ignored. It’s the nicest, cleanest, most flavorful funky ale I’ve had. If you love to smell your toes, this is for you. Great stuff. marcus (1874), Sacramento, California, USA
