| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Pros: Long lasting foam, sharp color. Nice balance between the various elements. Impressively brewed for a hard to make style.
Cons: Doesn’t seem to have a very pure core. Finish is really short.
Overall, this ale provides many delights. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Funky sour aroma.
Light body with very little flavor really. Very light and spritzy. Refreshing. bhensonb (4357), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 16, 2009 Bottle shared by Marcus; labeled It’s Alright. Bright golden pour with an ephemeral beige head. aroma of sour funk. It smells worse then that. Near medium body. Fizzy carbonation. Suddenly it’s refreshing. It’s actually clean, if sweat sox can be ignored. It’s the nicest, cleanest, most flavorful funky ale I’ve had. If you love to smell your toes, this is for you. Great stuff. marcus (1895), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 16, 2009 This black ale poured with a miniscule white head and spicy aroma. The flavor is fruity with a somewhat bitter finish. chicagodri (1063), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 16, 2009 Pours clear pale yellow with a very thin white head. Sour aroma of brettanomyces. Slightly acidic, but then it really mellows out and has a nutty flavor to it. I kind of didn’t like the finish. It’s just alright :) Sigmund (2298), Hafrsfjord, Norway
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2009 330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Extremely pale yellow colour, big white head. Strong yeasty and spicy aroma, with distinct notes of fermenting fruits and brettanomyces (farmhouse / barnyard). The flavour is very crisp and moderately acidic with some lemony and spicy notes, very refreshing. The mouthfeel is a bit thin, but I’m not really complaining - it’s nice to have a Mikkeller beer that doesn’t get you drunk by the first bottle - for once. notalush (2682), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 15, 2009 Bottle from State Line Liquors - lightly hazy golden beer, with a fizzy, short-lived head - musky, sweaty aroma, with some phenolic notes - light, dry, flinty flavor, with some bready character coming through on the back end - a little tartness and young brett qualities - some band-aid flavor on the end is a little off-putting - not terribly complex, but an okay belgian session ale. crondonik (32), California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 13, 2009 Updated: Mar 20, 2009Bottle. white head dissapates quikly. Yellow in color and completley free of any matter. looks like a good pilsner. Smells like foot, or a wet dog, along with some sort of nut and malt. Taste is at first very bretty and spicy before becoming nutty, very nutty which surprised me. Had a good body to it for a light version of a beer. Not bad but dont like nuts too much.
