12oz bottle, slight hazy yellow hue, with an off-white head, yeasty, moderate bretty, funky, banyard nose with some nice sour green apple accents, with some cheesy, dusty, leathery, kind of dirty feet, mold notes in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, bretty, funky character, with some cheesy, faint lemon peel, green apple sourness flavors, with a light citrus, rhubarb tartness accent, and a mild flowery hop leafiness, leading towards a leathery, citrusy, sour green apple, lemony, hop, dry bitterness finish.

ƙ/3/08) Draught at In De Wildeman in Amsterdam. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium white head. Aroma of spicy bread, citrus peels, fruits, yeast and some candy hints. Sweetish and slightly spicy flavor with some maltiness. Continues spicy, with some sugary-candyish tones. Finishes with lots of hops and citrus. Medium-bodied. good.

light hazy grapefruit pour, this fizzy head. Aroma has a little funky-ness to it, lots of lemon zest, a bit of sweetness as well but a weird floral almost hand lotion notes but not in a bad way really. A little watery in the flavor, very dry and very effervescent. Still that funky notes, not sure how i feel about it to be honest.

clouded yellow body, champagne like fizz. aroma is super fruity combo of lemon and nearly raspberry and plenty of barnyard as well, all of which literally make my mouth water. flavor is more hops then brett, which overwhelms the funk a bit. quite dry, aroma evolves a bit and becomes quite a stinker after just a minute of two in the glass.

Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is lemons, sweet grain, and a lot of phenolic funk that tends toward plastic/bandaid but not too bad. Flavor is pretty much all brett funk. Lots of odd chemical notes including chlorine and phenols. Lacks depth and complexity. This is a wild ale without the ale part. No fruitiness, no tartness, no real flavors other than brett funk. Overcarbonated and astringent mouthfeel. While this isn’t as offensive to me as it was some of the other reviewers, it totally misses the mark.

Bright yellow pour, nose is wonderful bretty funk, with some wheat bread and tart lemon notes. Flavor is serious funkiness - nice tart straw and lemon zest upfront, but fades to a dirty gym sock finish. Really - aftertaste is plymouth junior high locker room. Interesting beer, but from nose to start to finish goes from really good (nose) to ’interesting’ (first taste) to pretty damn bad (finish). Not sure what to make of this one.

33cl bottle. Pours pale yellow - almost straw - with a slight cloudiness and a medium-sized white head. It has an endless stream of lots and lots of bubbles. The aroma feature some cereal grainy malts at first with a soft earthiness. But it’s quickly overpowered by acidic berries and sour fruit pie - rhubarb, currants, sour apple, subtle berry. Some earthy hops come through with the sourness which makes for a very peculiar aroma. The flavor is odd with a cereal graininess and spicy noble hops - almost like a Brett Pilsner. There is an earthy straw grassiness amidst the funky sourness. Rather odd tasting. The mouthfeel is brisk and carbonated with a medium-light body and an odd resiny - almost astringent - feel all over. Overall - not very good. It’s very strange. It isn’t a drain-pour, but it’s not very drinkable in my opinion. It lacks any rich or "bigger" characteristics that could complement or at least keep up with all of that sour Brett funk.
