Nov 4, 2009 11.2 oz bottle. So I’m guessing this is what mikkeller considers to be a light beer. I probably would like it a lot more if it were sold in a 24 pack and were a lot cheaper. Oh well. That being said, I still enjoyed it for what it was. It’s hard to expect this one to be quite on par with some of mikkeller’s other offerings. The aroma is light and fruity with a decent amount of brett yeast present. The pour had a decent layer of light head, and a mostly translucent, golden colored body. It has a lighter but not watery, and fairly crisp body. The flavors don’t pack a whole lot of punch, but I sort of expected that. Flavors notes of light funky fruits, some sugary sweetness, and some wheat and mixed Belgian grain. I was not overly impressed nor overly turned off by anything in this beer. Really, its just a pretty mild, light Belgian ale.

Nov 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a medium white head. Aroma has sour notes as well as stale fruits. Flavor is equally disappointing with the same stale notes with a particularly musky note. I expect better from Mikkeller.

Apparence: La couleur est blonde légèrement voilée avec une forte densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût fruité avec une pointe d’épices et d’herbes. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement aqueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Nov 1, 2009 Weird beer. Not so great. Yellow pour. Odd aroma. Old fruit and some weird herbal notes. Flavor is dry and really kind of bad. Tastes like an out of date white beer with something funky and nasty.

Oct 31, 2009 The aroma trumps the taste! Light, pale straw in color with many mysterious floaters. Aroma redolent of apples, pineapples, grass and lemon merengue pie! Mouthfeel is not very desirable; taste not so impressive - it’s kinda like a WIt beer fallen astray - extraordinarily different! Sour aftertaste that falls short on the palette. Not to my liking.
