Poured a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Herbal and minty aroma with notes of tea and dust. The flavor too was herbal and minty. Moderately bitter dry finish. The beer had a medium body.

I’ve had this beer twice, 4 months apart. It is still developing. The aroma is pure fresh flowers, stalks, and melon - brett intensity plus hopping. Unbelievable - top 25 smelling beer ever. Reminds of the tropical mango sweet freshness of Pizza Port’s Synergy. Finely conditioned, very airy and light initially. The body is nice - a little sticky as it warms. The flavor is strawlike, with some sweet malt bread and touch of tartness. Very good, I must get some to stash. Thanks for opening it upon my near insistence (!) JSturm.

Pours a fairly bright orange-amber colour with a loose head. The aroma has a herbal funk that recalls Orval and a saison. Dry, leafy herbaceousness wit a bit of caramel. The flavour veers away from that paradigm, however, towards a full, rich malty character. Caramel, earth and just a hint of brett influence this, with a shade of herbal hop. The dry finish shows a little bit of alcohol muscle.

this is a beer for those who truly love to drink beer, the taste are very exquisit that any common beer drinker would be confused. lots of spices and taste of wood. full flavor of many taste. one for the hardcore.

The aroma is wild and funky, there is pepper and ginger as well as sour fruit, malt, herbs, and cedar. The appearance is amber with a huge head. The flavor is like the aroma but not overly funky. The palate is thin. Overall not bad for a wild beer.

Clear bright blood orange color with big foamy beige head and lovely lacing. Perfume wafts from the glass and contains subtle, judicious Brett, mild metallic notes. Smells dry like the skins of fruits. A beckoning aroma. Nice body, bone dry and astringent. Has some egg shell character and metals, alcohol is apparent. Intense bitter citrus pith and rind. Olive pits and as it warms some cherry notes emerge. Would benefit from aging, am cellaring another bottle.

25 oz bottle, via Stateline Liquors, consumed at The Glass Onion on V-Day. Pours a hazy dark gold body with a nice one inch fizzy white head that had decent retention. The nose is laced with brett, some sweet candi sugar, a nice hoppiness, pale malts, and some light citrusy notes. The flavor does remind me of some bottles of Orval I’ve had, especially those where the brett is really out in front. Soft maltiness with a bit of sweetness in the middle along with fruits like grapes or pear. A little bit of alcohol on the brett laced finish. Medium bodied and nicely carbonated, its got a texture that just begs you to swish it around a bit before you swallow. Nicely done, if it weren’t for the price tag and 750 ml format, I’d make this a regular drinker.
