Aug 12, 2008 Bottle at home 12-08-08 purchased from Cave Direct Beer Merchants (Mixed case of Mikkeller Beer) Orange amber pour, strange aroma that is not unlike cats piss mixed with some cheap perfume and Loz says it reminds her of a hot summers day smelling cow keck/parsley. Perfume in the mouth along with some citrus , shy spicy sweetness and alcohol that sits below waiting to entrap the glug monster, some yeast starts to show, I like this and yet reading my rating you would have never thought it, its strange difficult to categorise but very nice.

Aug 11, 2008 Shared by Yaniv, thanks. Warm orangy amber with haze and thin dense light tan head. Sweet lightly oaky caramel with a little vinous grapey astringency. Clean and light. Light creamy, higher carbonation. Sweet vinous grapey oaky astringenyc. Creamy light caramel. Tannic. Not a lot of sour though. some vanilla. Lingering tannic astringency.

Clear medium yellow amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, moderate to light heavy yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (240508)

Aug 9, 2008 Good mix of sweet and sour tones with a musty backdrop and some woodiness in the mix. I enjoyed this one even if it had a bit of funkiness in its end. Nice dry palate with some body to it. From the NEPA case club.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Cloudy orange. Aroma of hops, some oranges and grapefruit and a bit of caramel. A rather bitter flavor with hops and some citrus. Medium-bodied.

Aug 9, 2008 Bottle, pours a slightly cloudy burnt orange body with foamy, off white head. Aroma of belgian malts with hints of barnyard, citrus, and hops. Flavor is more of the same. Bitter hop finish with aspirin/astringent aftertaste.

Aug 6, 2008 750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of carmel, spice, fruittiness, light funk, some floral notes and a hint of leather. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of carmel, spice, light fruittiness, some light funk and a hint of leather with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.
