Bottle form Sick Boy @ The Grand Tasting @ RBSG. Pours orange with a tan ring. Nose is sweet and taste is sweet and light.

(Bottle, Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 24 July 2008) Dark amber colour with brief, frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with caramel, yeast and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, toffee, cardamom, citrus, spicy hops and hints of yeast. Balanced sweetness and quite hoppy. As dchmela puts it: "just a wild mix of flavors", but it actually works. And quite drinkable for its abv. Very nice beer.

Bottle 75 cl. Huge frothy, off-white diminishing head. Hazy deep orange body. Aroma of earth, basement, oranges and hops. The flavor is medium sweet and heavy bitter. Nice beer.

Thanks to Beerlando for a taste of one of the greatest named beers ever! Pours a medium amber color, cloudy with a thick head. Sweet hoppy, sour, & tangerine aroma. Obviously a lot of hops in this. Taste is malty sweet with grapefruit lemony hops and hints of sourness. Just a wild mix of flavors and another great beer from Mikkeller.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of Belgian yeast, spices, Brett, and some cloves. Poured amber/chestnut brown in color with a large, foamy, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Some medium and large-sized particles. Sparkling. Lightly sweet, light to medium bitter flavor. Tastes of caramel malts, piney and resinous hops, Brett, grass, salt, spices, and a hint of chocolate. Medium body. Smooth, dryish texture. Average to lively carbonation. Hoppy, piney, dry finish. Much nice than expected.

Pours a cloudy burnt orange color with a small, foamy, off-white head. Thin sheets and jagged lines of lacing mark the glass. The aroma starts out with a bold blast of grapefruit, followed by mixed berries, peaches, and a funky, dusty, perfumy yeast element that permeates throughout. Flavors show a candy sugar malt base, bittersweet grapefruit and berry notes, and a dry, funky, spicy yeast profile. Medium bodied and dry, with a long, spicy finish. Very reminiscent of something from the t’ ij brewery. Different, and quite interesting. I dug this one quite a bit.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours ruddy muddy dark brown with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is dry, yeasty, spicy, with some fruit, hop, funk, and old aley olfactory wafts. The flavor is very floral, dry, funky, with earthy spicy yeast, cobwebby esters, and old fruit flavors. Smooth and complex palate.

Dark amber copper with a lightly off white head. My second tiem trying this one. The aroma has some funky earth and a little bit of dandelions. There is also some keathery goodness. The taste has some bitter floral character along with peanut shells. The is some cinnamon spice in the finish. A decent brew, but a little boring.
