Commercial Description:
Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

Bottle at home and about 25 other tastes on my travels round europe. Alroud rating: Bready brown ale and roasted malts, some chocolate and coffee can be found, but i had to search for it, the hopping is more than id expect from a brown ale. Alround drinkable stuff.

Brown in color with a small tan head. Aroma is very hoppy for a brown ale, floral and some citrus as well as chocolate, some touches of dark crystal, and some bready malts and yeast. Taste is malty with bready malts and some toluches of chocolate, moderately hoppy with some citrus, pine and flowers. In the finish some foffee, and lingering hop bitterness.

A dark clear brown ale with a thin moka head. A nice chocolate and hops aroma, pinhey hops, melding nicely with fudge and vanilla. In mouth, a good chocolate malt, good herbal hops, sustained bitterness. Rich and smooth.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits. Damn fine brew. Wow. Brown pour with a nice beige head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, hops, malt and even some faint coffee. Flavor is creamy as hell, nuts, coffee candy, malt and great hop balance. Wow.

Bottle Pours out a nice brown topped with a cream off white head. Aroma of sweet roast and malts. Tast of light coffee and a little bite of bitterness at the end.
