Commercial Description:
Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

Very good brown ale. Brown pour with a medium off white head. Nice caramel aroma and nutty, caramel flavor. Finishes with a smooth hoppy bitterness.

Bottle, thanks guys! Murky brown, nice thick beige head. Molassy, coffee bean aroma. Slightly tangy, strong hoppy flavor with coffee, sweetish malts and nuttiness. Medium to full bodied, smooth strong carbonation. It tastes like a Mikkeller.

Bottle shared with Paul at Volo. This is remarkably complex and flavourful. Pours dark, dark brown with a head that is light and creamy, maybe "frothy"...but unfortunately not long lasting. Aroma is a perfect balance of cherries, coffee roast and chocolate. A light, malty feel. Big coffee bean flavour with delicious chocolate and light fruit, all very balanced. Bitter finish that leaves you wanting to experience it all over again.

smoky brown color, small aroma which is almost metallic. flavor is overhopped for the style, overwhelmingly bitter. some coffee, the aftertaste is not the taste of coffee....it is the aftertaste of coffee, like 2 hours after you drank some. why so many hops? doesnt seem to be necessary, and it irritates the smooth mouthfeel id like from a brown ale. too dry, too bitter, too thin. this is interesting, but its not a very good brown ale in my book.

Pours a thick tan head with streaks along the sides of the glass. The color is a semi clear nut brown. The nose is of floral and citrus hops. The flavor is nice and robust with a ton of chocolate malt and hints of roasted coffee. But it is not too roasted, it is nice and balanced. It is hopped very well and the carbonation is perfect. Overall it is a great brown ale and nice and refreshing.

Aroma is roasted, nearly toasted malt, and an influence of nuts also. Deep brown, pours a small tan head. Flavour is toasty malt, pleasant nuttiness, with some woody undertones. Medium bodied, very nicely balanced, lovely mouthfeel. Fabulous!

Brown body with a frothy creamy beige head. Aroma of the hop flowers like resin with roasted malt and coffee. Complex mouthfeel with the caramel and coffe tastes, strong personality with a good balanced but powerfull hop flavo. Fine and long aftertaste of the roasted grains and coffe. Thank you, Mikkeller, it was really fine!r
