Commercial Description:
Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

Bottle - Mondial de la Bière, Montréal. Dark brown body with a thick beige frothy head. Malty/hoppy aroma with roasty, caramel and nutty hints. Taste carries roasted coffee, chocolate and flowery notes. Ends with a long bitter/roasty finish. Well done.

Cola-brown pour with a tan frothy head. Roasted malt, hps, nuttiness, caramel sweetness. Roasted malt flavor with nuts and sweetness. Dry aftertaste on the tongue. There is a slight cocoa taste that lingers on after the drink. Nice lacing on the glass. he foamy head was the last to go.

Classique brown ale de bonne qualité. Très moelleuse, elle offre des saveurs de noisettes, de chocolat et quelques effluves de café. Évidemment très malté, elle est douce et facile à boire.

Truly deep brown, lovely big beige head. Surprsingly hoppy, though still very light on the nose. Light roasted malt notes also. In the mouth the hops are still apparent. VEry floral and tingly. Great deep, powdery chocolate and almost burnt topnotes. Very nice, deep & ashy roast. A really nice beer gives a great depth of flavour whilst remaining highly drinkable. Love it.

pours dark brown, thick off whtie head and frothy lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, coffee, dark malts. Taste, some bitter hops, light coffee notes and malts, chocolate malts with nice toasted palate. Coffee was not too upfront. Beer had a light yeasty haze floating around that added to the bitterness that was overly present.

Clear, dark brown, thick tan head. Immediate aroma of burnt bones and toasted marshmellows. Smokey flavor, roasted grains and malt, nice bitter hops, grass, sharp coffee. Just a tad thin with a nice lingering grass on the tongue.
