Commercial Description:
Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

bottle - pours clear and ruby brown with big white head and some lacing; aromas mix of bubblegum and dirty feet; thin body with flavors of bitter hops, licorice and again, dirty feet; lots of carbonation and little sweetness; overall a dismal effort compared to what i’ve tried from mikkeller so far

[Bottled at Vinens Verden] Wonderful beer with notes of caramel, coffee and chocolate. Brown appearance and a full body.

Bottle. Pine, wood, bitter chocolate, dry yeast, roasted malt. Pours a dark, nearly opaque brown with a thick light khaki head leaving nice lacing all the way down the glass. Flavor is bitter toasted malt and bitter hops. Coffee grounds. Lacking definition. Medium bodied. Lively carbonation. One of my least favorite from this brewery.

Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours a clear dark brown color with a two-finger tan head and some lacing. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, and roast. Comes together well. Flavor is good but a bit harsh from the coffee. Besides coffee, chocolate, nuts roasted malt, licorice, and bittering hops are present. Body is medium with a long bitter finish lasting on the palate. Overall a very good coffee brown ale.

Pours attractive deep brown with a full cream colored head. The nose is rich and full of malt and subtle pine, woodsy notes. The flavor is a bit grainy, earthy and malt astringent. Dry, gritty finish. Not their best stuff.

Hazy brown body. Off-white, lightly brown head. Aroma of malts, hops, liquor, port, ... Moderately bitter, lightly sweet initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. Nice beer with some complexity and IPA-bitterness.

bottle from west lakeview..... pours a dark caramel brown with a thin off-white film of head at the top of the glass..... aromas of roasted caramel malt and light hops to supplement the malts..... flavors initially start off pretty bitter from the hops. the sweeter caramel malts peak through as it warms but the combination of the two seem a little off in my mind. mouthfeel was relatively nice and creamy. perhaps i wasn’t expecting so much bitterness which is what ultimately detracted from its enjoyability.l
