Commercial Description:
Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

Burnt caramel aroma and light toast. Brown in color with a THICK, frothy and rocky head. Light black malts, toffee, peanuts and a zing of spicy, citric hops. Slight sourness is a minor detractions, but otherwise a definitive craft brew.

Pours a darker brown with a healthy light tan head. The nose is lightly sweet and slightly nutty with a good hit of some hops and coffee roast. The mouthfeel is a bit fuller than average. The flavor is in line with the nose. Light sweetness, reminiscent of Beer Geek Breakfast, with far less roast. Still a hint of roast, mostly from the coffee. Which is odd for a brown. A liberal dose of hops for the style. Drinkable, but not the exceptional brew one would expect from Mikkeller for the price.

Flaske. Superdejlig brown ale. Stor duft af humle, og en flot brun farve med dejlige indbydende bobler i skummet. Dejlig balanceret smag der gør den fantastisk drikbar.

Acquired from janka at GABF trade. Poured deep brown with Khaki head. Aroma of chocolate malt. Fairly full bodied. Taste is mainly chocolate and hazlenut coffee. I found it quite delicious. I sampled this with my cousin and a two other friends, they were impressed with the beer as well. Thanks janka!

22 oz bottle picked up by my good friend Leems and shared around at our Memorial Day camping trip. Pours out a deep brown with red highlights. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, light roasted malt. Flavor of chocolate, coffee, light earthy hop and caramel malt. Very smooth and flavorful, good beer.

Bottle: This sweetheart has a delicious aroma of brown sugar & alcohol. A little hoppier than most browns which I think is nice. Very tasty. Thanks BuckeyeBoy for the hookup.

Brown body with a frothy creamy beige head. Aroma of the hop flowers like resin with roasted malt and coffee. Complex mouthfeel with the caramel and coffe tastes, strong personality with a good balanced but powerfull hop flavo. Fine and long aftertaste of the roasted grains and coffe. Thank you, Mikkeller, it was really fine!r

<#300>Dark brown look, with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted chocolate malts and a nice hob blend, like a roasted malt ipa...or something. Flavor is mainly bitter. A mix between the raw chocolate, and the hobs. Has a medium bodie, which makes it alot more drinkable than a stout, and of course the powerfull hob profile makes it more fresh and interesting than the standard brown ale. Holds a resemblance to the american brown ales. I find the palate quite oily, though not as thich - but very smooth. The chocolate follows nicely into the aftertaste.
