| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 23, 2006 Shared a 66 cl bottle. A very dark and bitter brown ale, or maybe more appropriately India Brown Ale. Flavours are quite porter like with loads of roasted malts, chocolate, and coffee ending in a long, dry bitter finish (amarillo hops). As madsberg puts it, this is »one hoppy motherfucker of a Brown Ale.« jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Dark amber color out of the bottle with a big, frothy head that left rings of lace on my glass. The nose is chalky with dusty chocolate and something that reminded me of dry dog food. The flavor has lots of roasted grain, chocolate and burnt toast. The finish shows the hops, with a long green finish that tends toward the grassy. Really nice brown ale. Suttree (2732), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
