Commercial Description:
Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

Poured a coffeeish dark brown. Nose is quite floral and sweet - like some type of candy. In the mouth was more sweetness with some good hops. Almost in IPA territory. Quite a good little beer but quite expensive for what it is.

Bottle shared above DDC. Poured a dark brown with some red hues around the edges and a medium size foamy off white head. Sweet aroma of malts, honey, caramel and some citrusy hops. Mediium to light palate with a mild chocolate slight hop bitter finsih. Sessionable beer.

500 ml. A see-through, dark copper-brown brew with a four-finger head that sticks everywhere. Aroma is big hops - citrus, floral, and resin notes. Flavor is similar, with a bit of cocoa and toasted nut flavors able to battle through the hops. Some nice roasted notes finally show up in the aftertaste about 8 oz. into this one. Smooth, near-medium body finishes slightly dry and tingly. Mixed feelings about how to rate this nice-enough tasting session ale. It disappoints a bit as a brown due to the lack of maltiness, but is pretty good if I thought I was in the mood for a heavier APA.

2006 bottle with a best before date in september 2007 :) This should be interesting! Apperance: Brown reddish with a nice, beige, creamy head. Aroma: Vanilla, Milkchocolate, Cola, Nuts, Hops. Fantastic! Flavor: Coffee, Grapefruit peel, Cocoa beans, Spices (pepper?), Cereal. Palate: Quite smooth with heavy kicks of chocolate and a good, dry, bitterness at the end. Medium carbonation.

Bottle. Rich dark brown. Malty and coffee aroma. Taste to match - strong brown ale taste, very full bodied, coffee not too imposing. Very drinkable strong dark ale.

Poured from a 500ml bottle and served in an English pint glass. This beer poured a medium-dark brown with a thick head of creamy tan foam that would not fade. Excellent lacing. The aroma of the beer was made up of coffee, chocolate, and nuts, along with a touch of citrus in the background. The flavor consisted of bitter roasted notes, cold coffee, pine, and grapefruit/citrus bitterness. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation. A good beer, but just a bit too bitter for my taste in a brown ale.

Bottle in trade from BlackForestCO. Thanks dude. Pours dark brown/maroon with a beige lasting head. Smell is toasty, nutty mildly sweet with maybe a light smattering of coffe. Taste is fairly bitter for a brown and is nicely malty and nutty without being sweet or overly simple. Medium body with a fair amount of carbonation. Actually fairly hoppy in the finish. Nice beer.
