Commercial Description:
Keller Likes Restsødme is a Keller favorite. The recipe is based on the winning brown ale at the Danish Homebrewing Championship 2005. It's a highly hopped brown ale with roasted character that goes well with the residual malt-sweetness.

Bottle. Pours a nice dark brown colour with an off-white head. Malty roasted aroma with hints of caramel. Sweet roasted malty and a little bitter flavor. Also have some hints of caramel in the flavor. With a nice hoppy malty aftertaste.

Lovely complex malt aromas, light sweet and toasted malts, notes of caramel. Deep chestnut colored body with a small off-white head. Dryish and roasty malt flavor, notes of coffee and with a shot of leafy hops in the end. Quite nice, reminds me a bit of Great Divide Hibernation Ale, which i love.

A real crowd pleaser, brown, very full, but never sickly sweet, taste from the malt (a bit burnt, but i dooo like it that way!), and the choise of hops realy suits the beer. Go find it now...

(on bottle, thanx Jeppe) Look up under "chestnut - colour" and you will find a photo of this beer; intense, deep brown hue, great. Resin and malt are primary aromas, followed by lavender and tjørn. A high, but just to the edge, carbonation. The finish is right on; fat , though refreshing malts. Yet a winning brew...well, it actually was...

Intens brown beer wit fast disappearing head. Aroma is rich and complex, Its like a punch with lots of dry fruits like figgs and sultanas poured over with Gin, calvados and cinnamon. In the taste there is a fine caramelly side to it. The beer has a breaddy texture with lots of exiting toppings. From sweet to bitter, and from minty to fruity. In the afthertaste te herbal bitters brings some refreshment.

Bottled. Dark brown coloured. Aroma of pears, dark fruits and coffee. Sweet and roasty flavour with loads of coffee and a hoppy and roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Nice brown ale.
