Bottle. Poured black with a dark brown head. Aroma was full of coffee and chocolate and coffee note with an undertone of wine. Flavor was intense as the combination of the wine flavors mixing with the chocolate and coffee notes worked well.

Bottle from Ølbutikken. Pitch black body with a medium brown head. Sweet liquor, chocolate, oak, sweet vanilla, dark molasses and raisins in the nose. Potent heavy oaky stout flavour with notes of vanilla, booze, light smoke, roasted malt, bitter coffee, chocolate and a bit soy. Velvet on the tongue. A fantastic and complex stout.

bottle, thanks puzzl! Pours black with a medium dark brown head.....evil looking. Great nose of red wine, cherries and coffee. Nice roasted malt and chocolate flavors that have a sherry alcohol note ending with a lingering expresso flavor. The mouth is moderate to heavy in carbonation giving a more crisp mouthfeel. The crispness makes the body seem lighter than it is, but still an overall awesome stout, I could sip this all day.

Little nip bottle courtesy of madmitch76. Poured deep dark amber with garnet edges and with thin tan head. It has a big aroma of oak, sherry, chocolate and some heat. This is a big yummy inviting aroma. The taste is much the same with a mix of chocolate rolling out a velvety feel to go along with mild sherry notes, oak and some roastiness. It gets even more roasty toward the finish holding this thing together with the help of fruity esters and more sherry like notes. Very nice stuff.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, roated malt, alcohol, and sherry. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, sherry, and roasted malt.

Bottle thanks to fonefan: Pours an oily opaque with dark mahogany edges and a thin, stringy-lacing dark tan head. Aroma of fresh roasty dark chocolate and coffee with a touch of molasses and sweet mild vinous oaky notes. Starts with good rich dark caramel and chocolate sweetness with an earthy roasted coffee bitterness before a drier, bittersweet and slightly warming finish. A unique and well-balanced imperial stout, but could have a little more sherry character.
