Commercial Description:
Originally brewed by Mikkeller, Denmark. Recent batch brewed by Mikkeller at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium.
The third in the series of single hop IPAs from Mikkeller. Brewed with Cascade, a true American classic hop type. This hop is less powerful than the ones used in the previous two single hop IPAs - creating a great balance with the beers other aspects.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (cascade) and yeast.

Fresh and leafy aroma, hazy bronze. Dry, astringent to a fault, like my mouth’s filled with gauze. Best of the three I had, but still too pointed.

Amber colored with massive head. Faint malts & resin in a floral aroma. Very bitter aroma and flavor, exploding with floral character.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich with hops and quite bitter. Could use some more flowers and caramel.

A Mes rate: bottle at home with The Cad.
This was good but not excellent. Plenty of citrus and spruce as you would expect. Soft and well rounded. Good mellow cascadey finish. Hugely drinkable. Just would have liked it to be a little more assertive.

Deep orange body with a tall off-white head. Fresh citrus hop aroma. Distinctive Cascades flavor that never goes out of style. Not as exotic as some of the newer hop flavored IPAs, but Cascades IPA are classic and this one is right in there.

Copper pour with nice big white head. Grassy/fresh citurs hop nose. Flavor has a nice big punch of hops that really hit you. A good bitterness that you chew through with not a lot of carbination, this medium body ale is my favorite of the single hop series.
