Aug 4, 2009 Fresh and leafy aroma, hazy bronze. Dry, astringent to a fault, like my mouth’s filled with gauze. Best of the three I had, but still too pointed.

This was good but not excellent. Plenty of citrus and spruce as you would expect. Soft and well rounded. Good mellow cascadey finish. Hugely drinkable. Just would have liked it to be a little more assertive.

Fresh citrus hop aroma.
Distinctive Cascades flavor that never goes out of style. Not as exotic as some of the newer hop flavored IPAs, but Cascades IPA are classic and this one is right in there.

Jul 27, 2009 Copper pour with nice big white head. Grassy/fresh citurs hop nose. Flavor has a nice big punch of hops that really hit you. A good bitterness that you chew through with not a lot of carbination, this medium body ale is my favorite of the single hop series.
