Hazy copper pour with ringlets that sprung from a very thin eggshell head. Aroma is a bit skunky, at first. Quite earthy with lemongrass, orange peel, and even a little horse blanket. Medium mouthfeel. Unique... Fin (3452), Merton, Oxfordshire, England
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam, consumed at Kemmel campsite, Belgium, 09-06-09 Had this in the Mikkeller Single Hop tasting with Nelson Sauvin, Warrior, Simcoe and Cascade all up for the taste off. This poured hazy amber which really was the case for all of them, slight chill haze, clingy fluffy head. The aroma is a touch sweet but its fruity. Soft mouthfeel, some perfume, touch of furry bitterness, another nice beer in this one hop series. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov15 3.8 Blom (508), Odense, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 19, 2009 Unclear orange with a thick head. Nice hoppy aroma, full of grass, orange and lemon. The flavour is - not surprisingly - full of grapish casade-notes. Not that much variety though, but still refreshing. Boutip (2383), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Bottle: Poured a deep orangey color ale witha large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and bitter hops with a dry finish. Taste is somewhat astringent with some notes of citrus and a bitter finish. Body is quite full with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Interesting but kind of confirm that Cascade is a hops that is better used as part of a mix but too harsh by itself. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Pours a straw yellow-orange with thick off-white head. Aroma very nice of all citrus hops (big surprise, huh?), slight malt, grass, and grapefruit strong. Flavor matches, but just doesn’t have the edge and complexity I was hoping for. Drinkable, but not worth the price with so many better options available for cheaper. Sparky27 (1608), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Bottle courtesy of GMCC2181 – thanks G-Unit! Pours a hazy amber with a thin beige head. The nose is light skunk/cat pee ammonia, citrus and malt. The taste is malt, sweet citrus and a resin bite in the finish that lingers. Medium bodied. Another good one. Thanks again G-Whiz! snakeoilpete (324), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Bottle. Tasted alongside their SH Warrior and Simcoe. Pours mostly clear copper/amber with a nice, lasting creamy off-white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma and taste- grapefruit and orange- with some pineapple. Medium bodied with nice creamy carbonation. Finish is bitter pine, grapefruit, and (oddly) lingering graphite. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA
