Commercial Description:
Originally brewed by Mikkeller, Denmark. Recent batch brewed by Mikkeller at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium.
The third in the series of single hop IPAs from Mikkeller. Brewed with Cascade, a true American classic hop type. This hop is less powerful than the ones used in the previous two single hop IPAs - creating a great balance with the beers other aspects.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (cascade) and yeast.

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a large, creamy off-white head and a slightly hazed amber body. Aroma is dank and grassy hops, light tropical fruit (mango), melon and caramel. Taste is earthy and lightly herbal, with some citrus, hoppy with a note of fruit that makes me think of melon. medium carbonation and a water like mouthfeel.

Bottle. Nose-clean and fresh like clothes that have been dried outside on a line, light grapefruit, very raw. Taste-aggressive unsweet hops, sweet, odd mouthfeel, weird aftertaste. It tastes like an IPA heavily hopped with PNW hops. Go figure

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a hazy gold with nice white head. Aroma of lots of hops, pine, fruity, dirty socks. Flavor is not bad at all, malty, piney, strong bitter. Mouthfeel is medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Overall, pretty good shit!

Bottle. Pours a beautiful clear glowing orange with a tall rocky sudsy off-white froth that sticks around forever and leaves great lacing. Funky aroma, sweaty green hops, fruity, lightly sweet, light caramel. Flavor is resiny and fruity, moving towards salty, light citrus, intense pine needles and grapefruit, pretty dry, some plasticy tasting malts/yeast, super quick finish with a very long extreme bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied, a bit chewy, sharp medium sized fizzy carbonation. Extreme.

11.2 oz bottle. Poured clear amber in color with a large beige frothy head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of earthy piney hops, and some grapefruit. Tastes of strong citrus hops, grapefruit, piney, and some light caramel. Nice IPA.

Bottle. Poured amber with a off white head. Aroma is piney and hoppy with a nice hint of fruit. Flavor was full of bitterness complimented by a piney flavor. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours a orange beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is hoppy (citrus, cascade). The flavor is clearly hops, with all the characteristics from cascadehops, with both citrus and grapefruit. The palate gives a good hoppy bitterness, and overall this is a very good IPA, and a good example of single hop beer.
