Commercial Description:
Originally brewed by Mikkeller, Denmark. Recent batch brewed by Mikkeller at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium.
The third in the series of single hop IPAs from Mikkeller. Brewed with Cascade, a true American classic hop type. This hop is less powerful than the ones used in the previous two single hop IPAs - creating a great balance with the beers other aspects.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (cascade) and yeast.

Bottle. Golden amber colour with very nice and white head. Aroma and taste of fresh flowers, citrus and a bit caramel. Wauu what a pleasant and fresh mouthfeel. The cascade hoppy nose gives a very long aroma all the way, to the last drop. Very good jantelov or not ;-)

33cl bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense. Highly anticipated. Pours a handsome orange golden with a lasting white head and lacings. Floral , citrus and grapefruity hoppy nose. Taste is likewise. Smooth, mega crisp, hoppy and dry. Very enjoyable and quaffable for sure!

Bottle. Amber coloured brew with a huge offwhite head. Scent of resin, pine, flowers and a basket filled with citrus fruits. The flavour is fruity and dry with notes of grapefruit and spices.

Huge offwhite coarseish head. Deep amber body with vigourous carbonation. Minty old socks and tropical citric fruit aroma with barnyard notes. Dry-sweetish peppery fruity barnyard taste with metallic notes. Fizzy, chalky mouthfeel. Thin-bodied. Sharpish. Dry orangey peppery barnyard aftertaste lingers forever. Nice. (0.33l bottle, Olympen.)

Bottle - Clear amber sparkling body, huge off white head leaving lots of lacing; The cascade aroma become extremely fine when they are on their own, grapefruit both juice and warm peel, lightly earthy spicy with a warm sweet flower part behind, some malt fill; Very soft textured body with quite some malt fill and sweetness, it has both depth and complexity and explodes in a dry earthy spicy bitterness when swallowed, it has the grapefruit aromas but not a s fine and complex as in the nose. Of the 3 that is out now I think this is the one where the hops fit the best as single hop.

Bottled. Aroma has grapefruit, tangerine peel. Hazy, orange coloured with an off-white head. taste is quite bitter, has grapefruit hops. Bitter bite in the end, not too heavy though. Good one this is.

Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Dark orange body with healthy head. Hoppy nose from 10 paces. Prickly mouthfeel. Taste of hops aplenty, pine and some fruits, including citrus, although harder to detect. The first European beer (I’ve had) that could easily qualify as an American one. Hats off (coming from a hophead.)

Bottle. Orange color. Tangerine, red berries and chalk in the aroma. Initial milky character flows into a firm earthy, yeasty hopbitterness with notes of pineapple, banana, melon and citrus. Yeasty aftertaste.
