The aroma is lovely sweet with strong notes of caramel and grapefruit - a real typical Cascade aroma. The flavor is also lovely sweet with strong notes of caramel and Cascade giving it notes of grapefruit and oranges. The end is only slightly bitter. The body is strong and slightly sticky. I just love Cascade. Papsoe (15091), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Fresh, aromatic hop aroma. Medium body with some notes of caramel, but otherwise mainly dominated by some lightly citrusy hoppy notes with a bitterness that’s slowly building up to be quite massive on the back of my tongue. But not really the most refined or sophisticated of the Mikkeller IPAs. 310106 yespr (12313), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 31, 2009 33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy to hazy orange with a huge off-white to light orange head. Dense dry orange and grapefruit hops aroma with a solid malt note. Subdued sweetness and a solid grapefruit hops flavour. Quite dry in the following seconds after the initial sip. Quite dry and somewhat sticky oily hops finish. A bit rough and almost brutal one dimensional bitterness. Cascade hops are tasty - but this is a bit too strong and thick hoppy. omhper (12245), Stockholm, Sweden

Sweet with very soft, gentle mouthfeel with near full body. When the aromatic hops roll in they cover the finish in layer after layer of grapefruity bitterness. Really good! fonefan (11811), VestJylland, Denmark
