| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Bottle shared with tashi at my "All my US bottles from GBBF need drinking" tasting, 16th Aug 09. This bottle came from the Cracked Kettle in Amsterdam though. Amber with a lacy white head. Distinctive cascade flavours - dusty, earthy almond dryness and good balance. Nice weight (surprisingly light) and not too strong/evident alcohol. Piney hop aroma and a long finish with resin at the top of the mouth and lasting dryness at the bottom. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Very nice and bitter IPA. Wonderful floral / citric nose. Taste is a bit thin, but still very satisfying. I had been looking forward to trying one of Mikkeller’s "american" styled beers. Not disappointing whatsoever. BoBoChamp (1430), Gent, Belgium

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Dec 25, 2009 Hazy orange pour with a mountainous interestingly shaped topographic head that leaves a thick coat of lacing. Aroma is bursting with sweet citrus and nectar fruits with a strong backbone of straw, grass, and pine. Malt profile is medium with notes of caramel and biscuit. Flavor is resinous and sappy- almost bracingly so. Huge notes of citrus and evergreen with an excellent balance of sweet caramel malt. Palate is suitably dry and resinous with a full mouthfeel and lively effervescence. Delicious and well crafted. MPA (515), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Nice pour. Citrusy pine notes waft off the top with grapefruit and orange being featured prominenetly. Certainly some potent and lingering sticky caramel malts with sugared fruit echoeing in the background. A nice melange of flavor and attitude. Very direct yet with tremendous depth and nuanced flourish. Well done j12601 (1355), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep hazy brown with a large beige head. Clean light pineapple and kumquat on some slightly oxidized malt with an earthy plum and vanilla note. Medium bodied, big malty earthiness. Long bitter grapefruit and a bit of oxidized malt again. Possibly a bit old, but still tasty. tokyogoat (576), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Bottle picked up from City Beer in San Francisco.
Pours a copper color with a thick egg shell head.
Nose is heavy with sweet caramel and toffee and bread.
Taste is straight ass. Good amount of caramel and sugar sweetness, the hops taste like rotten lettuce. Moderate bitterness, slight vegetable taste. Chemical aftertaste.
