Pours to the largest light tan head that’s fully lasting atop a super hazy coppery amber body. Awesome lacing. The aroma is fruity and white grapes. Tangerines and mandarin oranges round it out. The beer’s flavor is SWEETLY fruity with tangerines and mandarin oranges and light pale malts. The palate has a light bitterness and drying medium-full body. Miksu (2232), Jyväskylä, Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Draught at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Slightly hazy amber color, fizzy. Sweat, petroly and fruity hop aroma. Strong fruity, tart and petroly hop flavor with toffeish maltiness and some sweetness. I like the fruitiness of Nelson sauvin but not the petrol aroma and flavor. planky84 (136), , Greater London, England
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Aug 27, 2009 Bottle from Beer Merchants. Pours a hazy brown/orange colour with a good long lasting head. Aromas of peaches, oranges, summer fruits. Good malty flavours with lighter citrus notes. The finish isn’t as hoppy as Mikkeller’s nugget or simcoe IPA’s, it has a much more gentler approach. Very nice mouthfeel all round. Top marks! rane (511), Nibe, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Bottle. Once again cadeaus to Mikkeller for making this interesting experiment. I had this together with the warrior single hop, and this one is so much better. Red brown with little head. Nice grape aroma, sweet. Taste grape, hopps a lot of bitterness. A very nice though untypical IPA. hopscotch (5507), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Bottle… Cloudy burnt-orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Resiny, earthy aroma with shades of tropical fruit. Medium-bodied with champagne-like carbonation. Leans slightly on the bitter side of balance and provides a hint of acidity. Bitter, dry finish. Bottle courtesy of growler! Maria (6286), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2009 The color is orange-red and the head is huge, creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of pine, new tires for the car, and some earthy notes, hard to describe. The flavour has a light sweetness and the same earthy touch and notes of herbs, pine, new tires and a bite of pepper and a light bitterness. Not really my kind of hops... ratman197 (3242), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of carmel, pine resin, earthiness and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a watery finish. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2009 11.2 fl oz bottle purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pour is fully hazed orange golden copper with a big, four inch, very lasting off white head. Head falls quite slowly with thick lacing. Aroma of floral and earthy resin, some husky toasted malt behind that. Very natural and engaging nose. Taste is the floral resin from the nose, with an added element of bitter orange and toasted toffee light sweetness. The three flavors of resin floral earth, bitter sweet and toasted malt really play together and meld nicely. The long finish has more earthiness. Palate is medium, medium to low carbonation and a nice dry bitter finish. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for helping get this to me Tyler.
