| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 5, 2009 Amber pour. Whitish head. Floral hops abound with some caramel and fruit notes as well. This is the most complex of the 4 Mikkeller Singe Hop beers that I tried. Somewhat perfumey, citrus, malty, nutty. Good. Very nice. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Updated: Oct 2, 20092009-07-30, bottle at På Besök, Malmö, 9-5-7-4-16=41 Hazy amber color. The freshness of the aroma is sublime, flowery passion fruit, infinite. Lean caramel and toffee flavor, the hopping is strong but not oppressive, with oils and a fruity side. Excellent.
2009-04-18, bottle, 9-4-7-4-16=40 Hazy amber color; huge head; more carbonation than the usual Mikkeller beer. Impressive aroma, very fruity, but also floral, remindings candies, and a dash of vanilla; less grapefruit and more complex than the Beer Here Fat Cat, less punching (which indeed was a good thing). Correct body strength, with good caramel flavor, some toffee, very strong bitterness, with a high quantity of hop oils; the hop is quite fruity and a bit resiny; in the end it gets almost herbal; the beer overall can be described better as dry than sweet. Very long final, where there is also a very light metallic touch. Very enjoyable; Nelson Sauvin is a great hop. kyzr (1127), Belgrade, Montana, USA
