Sweet hoppy IPA with very strong fruit flavors mixed in there. Floral with lots of citrus. Pricey for a 12 ounce.

Amber. Big fresh, slightly metallic hop nose (Sauvin, of course). Quite vinous with kiwi and gooseberries. Very bitter, but fresh with fruity qualities. Really nice hop showcase.

Amber pour. Whitish head. Floral hops abound with some caramel and fruit notes as well. This is the most complex of the 4 Mikkeller Singe Hop beers that I tried. Somewhat perfumey, citrus, malty, nutty. Good. Very nice.

Tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival 09. Clear golden color, short head. Sharp, fresh fruity. Quite hoppy ofcourse. Bitter taste (what else is new). Decent.

Bottle from big D!!!!!!!! Huge whispy head. Subtle citrusy and flowery aroma. Flavor is interesting ... caramel, grapefruit, hops... and a different almondy nut taste. weird? Not sure this is my thing ... dozens and dozens of IPA’s i’d take over this. For starters, Alpine Nelson!

Hazy amber color. The freshness of the aroma is sublime, flowery passion fruit, infinite. Lean caramel and toffee flavor, the hopping is strong but not oppressive, with oils and a fruity side. Excellent.

Hazy amber color; huge head; more carbonation than the usual Mikkeller beer. Impressive aroma, very fruity, but also floral, remindings candies, and a dash of vanilla; less grapefruit and more complex than the Beer Here Fat Cat, less punching (which indeed was a good thing). Correct body strength, with good caramel flavor, some toffee, very strong bitterness, with a high quantity of hop oils; the hop is quite fruity and a bit resiny; in the end it gets almost herbal; the beer overall can be described better as dry than sweet. Very long final, where there is also a very light metallic touch. Very enjoyable; Nelson Sauvin is a great hop.

Pours fairly clear copper with large foamy head. Big citrus fruity nose. Flavor is full on hops with nice stone fruit mixed with grapefruit. Medium body with nice chewy texture. Finish is bitter with zest of oranges.
