Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Sweetness, citrus, pine, orange and a somewhat fresh grapy touch in the aroma. Flavour is full of flowers, orange/citrus, pine, light caramel and some sweetness to counter the hoppy part. Medium to full bodied. Very dry. Nice heavy balanced bitter end. Very refreshing and highly drinkable.

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Slightly hazy darker copper with small to medium, creamy beige head. Aroma is big and grapey with a little caramel sweetness. Flavor is grapey as well with a little pine, sweeter caramel, hops dry out the finish, pretty tasty. Medium to light, creamy body with smooth carbonation. Amazing, I love this hop.

Bottle, thank you Jan & Charlotte!! Pours a clear light copper with big frothy head. Incredilicious aroma is first cabernet grape, then white wine, then grapefruit, then honey and rich sugar. It’s heavenly...The palate is juicy. Flavors are grapefruit, which lingers long on the tongue. The fore-flavors are honey-sweet, then Boom! grapefruit and white wine. A well-rounded, trippy flavor experience. This hop is probably the most fun single-hop for the spotlight! The malts in this beer are well-chosen, although the beer is quite light in body. I could drink a lot of this.

Pours clear bronze with a very large beige head. The aroma has hops that are fruity, grape-like and some spiciness. The toasted malt from the other single hop from Mikkeller is there like normal. Medium bodied beer that is very crisp with an abundance of sharp carbonation. The flavor starts like the aroma along with some green hop dankness with very little malt being noticed due to the overwhelming hops. The finish is more bitter and lingering. Very nice IPA.

Huge head. Almost overflowed when pouring. Attractive looking beer with copper body beneath. Earthy, flowery aroma with some oak tones. Smells a bit like the belgian tripel ipa type beer. This beer is yummy. Atypical to a normal IPA, this pushes the boundaries of the style to a new level. Very impressive beer and the best hoppy Mikkeller beer I’ve sampled.

330ml bottle. BB 10/03/11 Big creamy offwhite head atop a murky pale amber body. Clumpy lace on the way down. Remarkably fruity hop-derived nose; red berries, intense citrus, grass, kiwifruit and gooseberry, spice and wood. Good does of underlying caramelly malt, with a nice toastiness about it. Full, thick, oilly texture, moderate-to-low carbonation, really hangs around in the mouth, clings, and doesn’t let go all to easy. Interplay of hop and malt on the body really adds an extra-dimension to these hops. On one hand, you have a fantastically aromatic, resiny hop that gives off complex hints of passionfruit and citrus liked to those you’d find in a Sauvignon Blanc wine, yet combined with a solid backbone of biscuity malts, undertones of spice, wood, pepper, and apricot emerge. It’s a beautiful thing. Finishes drying, highly bitter, very alluring. Love the hop, love the beer, what more can I say.
