Sep 27, 2009 Amber, orange colored brew. Hoppy, grapefruit, berries in the aroma. Flavor has got some very nice hop taste, these hops are really nice. Intense, but not aggressive. Hop flavor is not long lasting. This is an easy drinking and higlly enjoyable IPA.

Sep 27, 2009 Updated: Nov 15, 2009Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy golden/amber, small head. Minty black currant aroma. Mid-sweet and medium bodied. Uncomplicated malt acting as support to the minty black currant hops. Lasting but unassaulting bitterness. Great IPA!

Sep 24, 2009 Thanks to jkwalking05. I agree with Cavie. I used to work at Calloway’s Nursery, and it’s about right on the aroma. Tastes like stale fruit and grain. Maybe some hops in the finish.

Sep 24, 2009 Bottle at Halvfräck panna. High fluffy beige head. Fresh grapefruit aroma with passionfruit and a small sulphur note. The taste is plesant smooth for an IPA with just a tuch of caramell. Well fermented with a good body and a smooth bitterness. The best of the single hop from Mikkeller.

Sep 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear darkish amber with a big rocky white head leaving plenty of lace. The hoppy aroma is very nice and has notes of honey, caramel and pine. The flavour is fairly similar with honey and caramel as well as a bit of citrus. Medium bodied with a very smooth mouthfeel. Fairly sweet but far from sickly, this is a really good IPA, less aggressive than some, and shows off the particular hop variety nicely.

Sep 22, 2009 Pours dark straw with 2-finger fluffy off-white head. Nose is great, a medley of resiny hops, mango, tangerine, black pepper. Having been exposed to this hop during the Sly Fox varietal IPA endeavors, I was really lookinf forward to it here, and I was not disappointed. The flavor is rich, hoppy, resiny, with tangerine, pineapple, mango, and a fruity, hoppy, citric finish that makes me wish I had more. This one is fantastic, and if you gave the aroma score less than 9 then shame on you.

Sep 21, 2009 Pours a hazy orange with thick frothy beige head. Aroma of citrus, pine hops, pineapple, caramel malts, spice. Similar taste, great hops finish. Nice blend of the malts and pine hops here. My favorite of the mikkeller single hops beers. Thanks Butters for the taste test.

Sep 21, 2009 Pours a lacing beige head with a golden -amber body. Citrus and caramel aromas. Flavors of apricot, mango, caramel. Finish is bitter and floral.
