I get a touch of caramel and biscuit in the aroma but the majority of the aroma is very fruity and slightly herbal. The fruitiness is light and somewhat non distinct, it is not citrusy at all. The hop has been described as smelling like Sauvignon Blanc grapes and I could see that, except there also seems to be a piney or herbal component to it too. Whatever it smells like, it is pleasant and inviting. Flavor wise, the beer flashes some medium caramel and lots of the hop flavor into the finish. The finish is moderately bitter and the fruitiness lingers. I enjoy the hop, but I wish the beer had a more simple malt bill to showcase the hop even more. Nevertheless, this was a very tasty beer. Thanks Tim!

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 1, 2010 Bottle. Pours a cloudy dirty orange with a super thick off-white head. Aroma of light sweet fruits and caramel malt. Flavor of sweet caramel malt (with some odd salty vegetal notes too) and a touch of light citrusy hops in the finish. Overall a decent IPA but not one of my favorites of the single hop series.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2009 Bottle. A clear, copper-orange beer with a small, beige head on top. Apricots, dried I think, grapefruit, grass and some sweetish notes in the aroma. Some alcohol too, but just a faint note. The flavor continues what the aroma started, adding some sweetness even though it feels rather dry in the mouth. Good bitterness in the finish. Medium to full body, nice level of carbonation. A nice beer, but it might be challenging drinking much of it. 090925 BoBoChamp (1437), Gent, Belgium

Large sized white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is grapey, woody, fruity and malty. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and grapelike. I still don’t have a grasp on this hop. I like it, but I am having trouble finding good descriptors. Its kind of floral and fruity, with some grape/wine like qualities. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA

Pours cloudy amber with a medium sized, creamy white head and good lace. Smells musty and pungent with a bot of floral hops. Tastes sweet and fruity hoppy, pungent and earthy as well. A little too musty for my liking. Medium body, vibrant carbonation. Ober (1235), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands
