Large sized white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is grapey, woody, fruity and malty. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and grapelike. I still don’t have a grasp on this hop. I like it, but I am having trouble finding good descriptors. Its kind of floral and fruity, with some grape/wine like qualities. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA

Pours cloudy amber with a medium sized, creamy white head and good lace. Smells musty and pungent with a bot of floral hops. Tastes sweet and fruity hoppy, pungent and earthy as well. A little too musty for my liking. Medium body, vibrant carbonation. Ober (1232), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Dec 7, 2009 Bottle. Pale yellow, a bit cloudy liquid with a rather large, white head. Aroma is a bit sweet and fruity with some fresh notes, but it also reminds quite a lot of a dirty urinal. Taste is sweet and sour in a weird way, with some fruitiness but mostly chemical notes of urin and detergent. This is not very good... Davros (248), Australia
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 7, 2009 Pours rich orange/amber with a huge head.
Classic nelson sauvin passion-fruit and peach on the nose with some pineapple thrown in as well. Also present is some lovely caramel malt and light peppery phenols.
Taste is dominated by a strong green hoppy bitterness - a little overwhelming at first. Soon enough the malt starts shining through along with lots of sweet passion fruit and peach. The alcohol also shines through, but is somewhat solventy.
Body is lacking, almost watery.
The key factor that let this down was the solventy finish, otherwise this was great.
