Pours orange. Nose is pine, spice, some harsh fruit. Flavor is a biting bitterness, pine, ripe fruits and sweet malt.

Dec 7, 2009 Bottle. Pale yellow, a bit cloudy liquid with a rather large, white head. Aroma is of hops, but also a not so nice note of toilet. Taste is very Belgian; the yeast and the hops come together in a citrusy fruitiness like a Belgian blonde or a hoppy wit. The bitterness is first a bit held back, but comes strongly in the finish.

Dec 7, 2009 330 ml bottle. Hazy amber orange colour, medium-sized off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, pine and malts. The flavour is caramel-malty and has a long, dry, strong bitter hoppy finish with lemon and a hint of alcohol.

Dec 6, 2009 One thing I’ve definately come to realize is that Mikkeller makes amazing looking beer. Bottle pours a brilliant orange-red. The large, creamy white head has a slight orange tint and leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is fairly simply but definately shines, displaying notes of orange marmalade and pine resin. This also carries through into the flavor which is complimented additionally by apricot and sweet toffee. Body is moderate and oily with an extremely bitter finish. Pretty impressive overall show for what is typically only used as a bittering hop. Once again showing me why I really like Mikkeller.

Dec 1, 2009 From a bottle poured a hazy straw color with a good amount of head. Nice strong hoppy flavor with a lasting finish.

Nov 29, 2009 Gold pour. Frothy white head. Aroma has some hops, but not what I expected. Malty nose carries over to the beer. It has more of an ESB quality to it. Odd.

malty yeasty aroma, also earthy swee notes.
flavor is bitterhoppy, faint yeasty, a little malty sweet, quite dry. well balanced and dry hoppy brew.

Nov 21, 2009 Poured from bottle a hazy gold, formed decent foamy head. Lacing evident with each sip, aroma of the usual, grapefruits, hops and malts. Flavour was mostly the same, smooth balance. Mikkeler does it again, wish I had more. Tasted at Steve-O’s Pimp Beer Palace.
