Cloudy orange with lots of tan head. Some yeast particles. Very nice hoppy aroma, citrus, pineapple, some grass. Bitter taste, hoppy. Fresh.

Pours amber, the head thickly lacry. Nose is sweet and floral like jasmine flowers showering in simple syrup. Double-take flavors...dry and icey in the mouth...hints of young grapefruit come to mind, with a quickly tapering minty exit that vanishes abruptly. There’s a consistent floral background riding along at all times. This is damn classy...seriously, its like champagne..

Bottle. Pours light amber coloured with a nice big off white head. Aromas of grapefruit, spruce, flowers and herbs. Very fruity. Hoppy flavour with notes of citrus fruit, resin, caramel and grass. Long, dry and bitter finish. Awesome!

Bottled:
Pours amber with a slight haze, head is HUGE. Big resinous lychee aroma with notes of goose berries. Flavour is all resinous, piney hops.

wow, this beer has a piney hoppiness to it. Flavor is all hops and very very bitter. Very highly carbonated and a long dry bitter finish.

11.2 oz bottle. After my experience with the single hop cascade, I was very much looking forward to trying this one. The overall experience was just as I expected. Simple, yet full and flavorful, and perfectly balanced. On the simcoe aspect of the aroma, there’s a good amount of lighter citrus notes, pineapple, mango, minor grapefruit, fruit basket, soft florals, a minor sappy pine. On the pour, there was big, thick white head, nice retention, a very cloudy full body, and tropical orange in color. As mentioned, the balance is great on this ipa, the flavors are simple, full, but not overly chewy, but there was not as much pop to the finish as maybe I would like, if there was one downside. The simcoe flavors are quite similar to the aroma, but maybe more pronouced in the fuller citruses (pineapple, grapefruit), also some good melon fruits, also more herbal that I would guess from the aroma, but the flavor is dominated by the citrus and medium fruits. This malt balancing notes on this ipa for both flavor and aroma are for the most part very close to the single hop cascade: biscuits, caramel, and cereal pale malts. This was a very nice drink.

A clear amber colored beer, with a thick foamy off white head. The aroma of sweet fruits, like pine, citrus and grapes. There is a stong hop bitter. The taste is sweet with a lot of bitterness of hops. The aftertaste is dry with a lot of bitter and fruity sweet.
