This poured a cloudy amber/orange hue with a thick head of chunky beige foam. Great retention and very nice lacing. The aroma was fresh pine needles, tropical fruits, pineapple, and some caramel. Floral and vibrant. The flavor was resinous and loaded with tropical fruit. Mango and pineapple along with a ton of pine. Carmel in the background. Mellow bitterness. Could have used a little more bite. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and had light carbonation. Nice showcase of an awsome hop. Well done! Tmoney99 (4771), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured hazy copper color with a huge frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy tart citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration.
This is a great beer. Acknud (788), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA

Not as sharp of a finish as i would like but not a bad drinker overall. tomthompson89 (1489), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Enjoyable as the Warrior was, to me this one merits the price much more clearly. Lovely cloudy orange pour, with a nice head, decent retention, and a very gritty, earthy look to it. Boy, do I love Simcoe hops and the nose is so fruity and floral. I could drink gallons of this stuff, I think. Body is nice and full, and the flavor is really lovely. Would that it were cheaper! twitcher (293), framingham, Massachusetts, USA

gentle pour yields a hazy light orange color with some visible particles despite gentle pour. Big, fluffy loosley-packed inch of off-white head with plenty of lasting power an lacing. Dank, resinous, piney nose with some notes of sharp bitterness and light booze. That distinct simcoe quality is certainly there. Flavor oozes, again, that "distinct simcoe quality". Sharp resinous pine needles, earthy bitterness, and sticky resin. Some light notes of smooth toasted caramel and some booze showing through. Interesting, well done flavor... but also somewhat reminiscient of... every other simcoe-heavy IPAs. Not a detraction, but also leaves one wanting something to stand out more. Palate is creamy and full with a tad bit of excessive carbonation, lightly bitter finish. Overall well done, just not as interesting as one might hope. ucusty (1900), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
