Body of hazy orange with a picturesque pillowy thick white head. Great aroma of traditional simcoe (grapefruit, pine, floral) hops. The start of this experience is blissful. Flavor is a nice blast of hops with a noticable maltiness. This is another excellent IPA. How this beer can survive the overseas trip and still taste this fresh baffles me. Another winner in the single hop IPA series. Great effort!

[2455-20090817] 11.2floz bottle. Green grassy hops aroma has some pine sap soaked bread grains. Murky, dark brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy light tan head with some heavy sunken floaties. Rich grass hops flavour has toasted malt and a bit of tea brew. Full body is fairly bitter throughout. Great bitter bite that lingers and turns sweet just at the right moment.

Bottle (330ml). Shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Cloudy amber with an average frothy off-white head. HUGE hit of simcoe pungent cat pee in the aroma - lordie I love that. Very pungent tasting, bitter, acidic simcoe hoppiness, but quite well balanced, not much alcohol at all. Average body, serious amounts of astringency and acidity, long pungent finish - love it, really really good.

With thanks to Blankboy for sharing this with HogTownHarry and I. Appearance: Cloudy orange, lots of chunks/flecks, large snow white head. Aroma: I agree with Harry - Cat Piss, hops, bitterness, pomegranate and orange. Flavour: Lovely super hop bite, young pineapple, grapefruit, nice mouth feel, tangy, makes me salivate, nice and enjoyable and was delicious to have sitting outdoors in the warmth.

2009-08-17. Orange amber body with a large billowy beige head. (4+) Lovely aroma of citrus, oranges, tangerines, mild leafy resin. (9+) Flavour is similar with lots of citrusy hops, pleasant bitterness throughout, leafy resiny undertones. Bitterness grows slightly as the glass goes on. (8+) Smooth average bodied palate is pleasantly carbonated and suits the beer. Yumm! Very good. Bottle from Premier Gourmet, Buffalo
