The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grapefruit, and some grass, but also a slight dusty note. The flavor is sweet with some notes of caramel, which is very soon overpowered by the hops, which from the start is very bitter with sharp notes of grapefruit with all the acidity of the grapefruit. Fat and greasy aroma hops in the nose. Quite a full body with a solid base of caramel malt. Dry - almost leathery - notes of the Simcoe leaving a dry but not overly bitter finish. 010207 omhper (12241), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 16, 2009 Draught, 7%. Distinctly grassy hop aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is a quite rough hoppiness, very grassy and quite bitter. There is a little sweetness to balance, and the mouthfeel is OK. The bitterness gets a bit much for me after a while. oh6gdx (8886), Vasa, Finland
