Pours a minimilistic hazed brownish orange with thick, extremely lacey off white froth on top. The nose was of musty oranges, ginger, and glue. Flavors bring about the orange/citrus character of the warrior quite nice, with a dry yet biting bitter finish...has somewhat of a medicinal character to it as well. I dont think the warrior brings too much to the table aroma wise, but that dry, bitter medicinal orange flavor is lovely. I am such a freaking fan of these single hop beers, you dont even know.

Pours a hazy amber with a small fizzy white head. Aroma has lots of citrus, peach, and some slight floral notes. Flavor is very similar, with a bone dry finish and some yeast notes as well. Nice way to establish the characteristics of Warriors, and a pretty darn good brew in its own right.

Cloudy orange with rich tan head. Hoppy aroma, fruity, some red berries, barnyard murky note. Taste is bitter, earthy, herbs. Esthers, phenoles. A bit belgian with more maltiness. Rough. Nice thickness.

Bottle. This is probably the last of the series of these that I’ll be able to track down, so it’s a little bit of a sad moment. What a great concept and full kudos to Mikkeller. Body of this, as the others is a pretty bright orange and supports a bigger than average head. Aromas are weka... not a lot going on other than some faint floral and citrus notes... maybe some soap and tropical fruit of some sort... kinda like the Cascade in that respect. As far as the flavor is concerned, it seemed to take a couple of minutes before it really popped and had much of an identity. My initial thoughts were that this was disappointing, but after a couple of minutes, the grapefruit and tingly hops started to come out of the woodwork and made this more enjoyable. A bit of a pine and grapefruit finish is right up my alley.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit and melon aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of grapefruit in the aftertaste.
