Slightly hazy orange gold with a large creamy head. Spicy, herby aroma with a hint of orange and nettle. I missed the sweetness, being overwhelmed by an oily, alcoholic, piney taste with a sharp grapefruit bitterness.

Bottled, BB 12/10/2010. Poured medium orange with a creamy, sticky, lovely cap of white head. The aroma picked spicy floral and grapefruit hoppage over a sweet, candied caramel base.. resiny with a prickly alcohol presence and a warm back to it. The flavor opened with tangy grapefruit and pine resin that opened into the same sweet caramel as the nose as well as bready character.. spicy floral notes joined prickly boozy notes on the back-end. Medium-bodied with fairly aggressive bitterness on the palate.. rolling carbonation.. a bit sharp on the back.. all in all a tasty brew.

Bottle and served in my GI IPA tulip: Deep golden hue with some floaties, very nice head and excellent lacing. The aroma has notes pungent citric and resiny hops, biscuity malts, hint of peppery esters and some metallic vapours. The taste is rather straight forward as expected but by all means hardly a bad thing, Nice upfront grapefruit and bitters with a caramel and pale bready background that is pretty well balanced considering. A dash of hop spice and even a touch of mint adds to the pleasure. The finish is a tad astringent and metallic but not too much to be a distraction. The mouth feel is surprisingly softer than expected with good body for the style, dry and chalky finish. All in all a darn nice IPA, I like this.

Goleden orange with decent head. Great hop aroma. Could use a bit more malt balance, but not a bad IPA.

Bottle, Olympen, Oslo. Poured a hazy orange colour with a creamy off white head. Citrus and grassy hop aroma that continued into the flavour which had a gentle spiciness mixed with a hard to define quality of rustic earthiness which makes this stand out from the crowd. Pleasing level of bitterness. Tasty and well worth a look.

Bottle at the Bishops Arms, Malmo, 18th May 09. Cloudy orange with a whitish head. Resinous hop aroma and flavour. Clingy but not sticky. Alcohol is evident but never gets in the way, instead adding a subtle warmth.

Bottle: Pours a transparent orange amber with a large, frothy off-white head. Has a fresh citrusy grapefruity nose with some light pale malty sweetness. Starts with a good fullness and malty sweetness with a juicy grapefruity hop flavor and a crisp, bittersweet finish. A pretty well-balanced and enjoyable IPA.
