Bottle [11.2oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o HogTownHarry. Pours a murky golden-orange with tons of floaties and an average size diminishing fluffy off-white head. Nice lacing. Lovely resiny hop aroma along with biscuity malt. Flavour of resiny hops with quite a long bitter finish -- one dimensional but very enjoyable. Medium bodied. Pretty good stuff.

0.33l - Toffee colored liquid, cloudy, yellow head of good size, nice lace throughout. Sour, vinegar nose with some yeast. Plenty of starch on palate, more than capable of supporting the vast hops on finish. Upper end IPA.

Cloudy, Light amber pour topped by a frothy (even sparkling) white head that all but disappears. Familiar aroma (to a home brewer) of fresh hop pellets. But theres more here: Cherries, Respberries, flowers, Honey.Vinous. Very inviting. The flavor is initially acetic transforming into acidity with a bitterness balancing through the whole swallow. Medium bodied with a dry watery feel. Promises a bit more to the nose than it delivers to the mouth. Pricey. All in all a good experience, though.

Bottle. Sampled this side-by-side with the Cascade Single Hop. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head was tall, dense, tenacious and off white with good retention, and lacing. As expected, hops dominated the nose. I smelled sweet citrus fruit (orange), fresh flower blossom, and apricot. I also got a whiff of Sunday morning pastry. There was some citrus (especially grapefruit) in the Cascade version, but I got more pine and earthy leaf flavors from the Cascade. Medium bodied and dry with mild hop bitterness. The Cascade version seemed more bitter. Some delicate sweetness emerged at the end. I didn’t get that from the Cascade version. Hops dominated the flavor. I tasted fruity apricot, flower blossom, and subdued orange accented by sweet pale malt and a touch of baking spices. Yum.

Mikkeller Single Hop side by side comparrisons of Simcoe, Nugget, Warrior and Cascade. All four looked virtually the same minus a few intial head sizes......Dark amber bodied with a slight touch of orange and frothy off off white heads that left various degrees of lace. AROMA: Simcoe-caramel malts and grains with grass and citrus notes and a fair amount of sweetness upon warming Cascade-earthy with bubble gum and cotton candy notes Warrior-Citrus, soap and subtle mint Nugget-Stronger hop resin notes then the rest, strong citrus prescence mostly grapefruit FLAVOR: Simcoe-Citrus rind mostly but a strong grainy prescence and some fruitiness upon warming....apricot mostly Warrior-Earth and citrus rind Cascade-Lots of earth and dirt along with some dirty chocolate Nugget-Citrus, earth, citrus rind and bread crusts The Palates were similar on most but the Nugget was the smoothest overall, the Cascade was the flatest, and the Warrior finished dryer then the rest.

Pours deep coppery with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is resiny hops, caramel malt, pineapple, tangerine. Tastes resiny, on the dry side, a tiny bit malt lacking, with a fairly rich palate. I’m not a huge fan of this hop, but this one is not bad, but not as well balanced as the Sly Fox version.

Shared during some monday night football with curly, scottyp, and barrios. Sampled side by side with nugget, cascade and nelson. Weakest hop flavor of all, but still enjoyable. Citrus, pine, caramel, cat pee, floral. Nice bitter finish.

Pours a slightly hazy orange with beige head. Smells of citrus hops, pineapple, spices. Bitter finish. Ok
