| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 13, 2007 Upon the pour from the 500ml bottle, it appears a slightly hazy amber with a two-fingered creamy white head that fades leaving a complete blanket of lace upon the glass. Nose has a delicious hop floral aroma, followed quickly by the sweet malt, crisp and clean, mouthwatering. Start has a delectable malt presence, hop bitter at the back, somewhat sweet with the top moderate in feel. Finish has a persistent acidity, the hops powerful and spicy, aftertaste is bone dry and the hops stick to the palate, quite a refreshing beer.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Light golden/copper with a generous fluffy white head. CItrus hoppy aroma, some sweetness. Flavor is mostly hops, not a bad thing, but could have used a smidgen more malt body. Ends with a slightly piney, mostly grapefruit bitterness. LadySusan (485), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle from K&L Redwood City, shared by bubba83 on BA. Thanks, Kevin! Nice almost clear copper color with a creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, apple, and citrus hops. Flavor is slightly oxidized, with caramel malt, orange/citrus hops, green apple, and some sherry. Palate is a little astringent with medium body and lingering bitterness. This was not quite as good as other Mikkeller IPAs I’ve had, although it still wasn’t bad at all. May have been less than fresh. mconstant (13), Greater London, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle. Poured amber, with thin white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Big citrusy piney hop flavour, with solid malt base. Medium mouthfeel, dry bitter finish. Had a couple of bottles from a different batch a few months ago which were superior. Still, a great IPA.
