The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of hops and butter, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Lacks hops in my opinion. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2009 On tap. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Sweetish butter aroma with a whiff of flowery hops. Medium body, malty with some flowery hoppiness - and a whiff of smoke?? The finish is dry and hoppy. The butter and smoke accents seem odd indeed, and I believe this requires a re-rate. 150509 yespr (12436), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2009 33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy golden orange with a huge, dense and almost fully white head. Mild citrusy fruity, butterish and slight yeasty aroma. Distinct sulphorish touch to a distinct bitter hoppy base flavour. Light citrusy note and vague butterish. Going into a dry and quite bitter finish. Nice and classic bohemian pils yet with an edge. omhper (12321), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 27, 2009 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Lightly hazy palegolden, airy head. Fruity, soapy orangy nose. Dryish and well hopped with clean mouthfeel. Very hop aromatic, but with a whiff of ruber. With it’s hard mouthfeel and fruitiness it tastes more of a golden ale than a Czech pils. fonefan (11929), VestJylland, Denmark
