The aroma is bready dry pils- fairly clean with a peppery/spicy grassy saaz character. A bit too carbonated which thins out the body. Quite dry though and has a minerally character to it. Has a thin light crackery back yet it’s a bit spritzy. Has a late peppery saaz on the back. A bit over-carbonated, but dry and nice overall.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 12, 2009 This an interesting and refreshing Pilsner. Pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. Aroma of grass hops and slightly sweet. Flavor actually have some smoke to it, which was unexpected. Slightly bitter, decent hop profile. Good beer though, enjoyable. willblake (2180), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 8, 2009 20091208 33cl bottle from State Line. Hazed honey golden color with small lingering white head. Beautiful aroma with fresh grassy hops, tons of doughy yeast, cut lumber. Even, aggressive carbonation. Flavor is lightly smoky, surprisingly, with herbal, grassy hops across the middle and finishing briskly bitter. Some unusual but not unpleasant waxy flavor, maybe that’s the yeast because it seems to smooth into a long lingering breadiness. Really nice beer, but I can’t imagine dropping the six bucks or whatever this was on any kind of regular basis as long as I have easy access to fresh Prima Pils. The aroma picked up sweet bready malts and honey with fresh floral and catty hop accents.. some sort of darker character that I couldn’t quite place (almost like a blend of honeysuckle, lemon pepper, and corn syrup, but better than I just made it sound).. hoppy for the style, and I really dug it. The flavor found more of the same.. honey and bready sweetness at the core (along with the stuff I couldn’t place from the nose), surrounded by fresh floral, earth, and catty bitterness.. sticky-sweet on the finish with ample bitterness. Light-bodied, but with a thicker feel than you’d expect.. I enjoyed this.

Very good pilsener, just a bit pricey at this end of the world. Jukkabro (3027), Tampere, Finland

Rich grass aroma with even some leathery manure notes, lemon also comes up. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is even more hopped with lemon also, same leather and thin manure lasts in aftertaste. Lots of hops here, bitterness lasts. harrisoni (6828), Ashford, Kent, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Bottle from De Molen shop at the BF 09. Now I am at heart a lager boy, and the Draft Beer from Mikkeller I thought was very impressive, so I was looking forward to this a lot. This has a little bit of herb to it. Something like juniper without it being juniper. Very good mouthfeel and some subtle hopping on the finish. Really very drinkable and this herby flavour lingers and is very likeable.
