The flavour is very complex. Strong hoppy flavour like an american IPA strong and flaral with a very welcome bitterness, and very citrus as well. you can really taste the Amarillo hops. The finish is a bit malty with the sourness of the brett coming through. There is a slight chocolate flavour mid palate and the whole flavour lingers and really stays with you. This is one of the Best Beers I have ever had. It is as if they have taken my 2 favorite styles, (American IPA, and Orval) and forced them together like an amazing beergasam that starts out soo strong and intenses, them amplifies, and finishes in the most interesting way. And then stays with you all night. All in all Awesome. finol (502), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden

Pours amber with yellowish head.
Smells of lemon and oranges.
Malty taste with belgian yeast and lots of hops. Complex tastes but easy if you prefere to sit back and relax with it!

| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Apr 4, 2009 Bottle. Look: Amber. Very nice creamy and thick white head. Smell: Hops. Extreme citrusy aroma. Some cookies. A lot more complex than your average IPA though. A bit more funky. Taste: Fruity and hoppy. Nice special dry funky bitterness in aftertaste. Orange, grapefruit. Overall: Simply one of the best beers ever. Refreshing and easy to drink, still very complex! pintbypint (1007), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 6, 2009 750ml brown bottle, corked. Cloudy orange/amber coloured with a solid, tall creamy head. Some soapy lacing. Aroma has some orange-like sweetness up front, some hemp notes, brett. Malt has some nutty qualities, earthy, woody, grapefruit and floral hop flavours. Medium bitter finish, lasting grapefruit hops aftertaste. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Great mix of bitterness and brett, which to me equals a dangerously drinkable, and no sign of the 8% alcohol. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen Light amber color; big creamy head. Wonderful aroma, hoppy, creamy, with delicate fruits (peaches, mango, sweet oranges). Medium body strength, but quite round mouthfeel, with very good, sweetish toffee flavor, perfectly complemented by the fruity hops. The final is well balanced as well, less powerful than the flavor, maybe missing some sweetness for my taste; in the end there is an aftertaste of Belgian yeast. Excellent beer. jfm (1695), Holbæk, Denmark

Very nice balanced body with strong hop flavors. Very nice and balanced hop and bitter palate. Very nice. LilBeerDoctor (1505), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 25, 2009 Rating #1100!! And appropriate, considering it’s also Memorial Day! Anyway, pours a cloudy brown/orange with a thick off-white head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruits and floral hops. Smells like an IPA, an awesome IPA at that! Flavor is not a fruity but has a nice bitter finish. Definitely quite hoppy with some sweet caramel malt. Nothing Belgian about this one to me. This is a great beer--I really enjoyed this one!
