beeranarchist (176), Aalborg, Denmark Aug 10, 2007 @ Københavsnke Øldage 07. Red, clear with a thin pink head. Very strong and sour aroma of cherries, vinegar and sweets. Surprisngly sweet, low carbonation and a sweet finish. Very refreshing. It’s very nice, however I think it lacks complexity. But I really like the idea!

Comments: Wild, strongly cherry-like, thin and dry, acidic – lactic, but vinegary also and plain well executed wild ale. Surprisingly not astringent. A fine recipe.
Storm (2683), Amager, Denmark Nov 18, 2007 Draught at Copenhagen Beerfestival 2007. Dark red colour with a great light red head. Great aroma of cherry. Lovely cherry flavour with a little sourness, ends up quite dry, but very delicious. JensenTaster (1485), Denmark Nov 7, 2007 (on tap) I bow my head and chear, "yes, I hoped it to be so" I really hoped that one could be able to make wildfermentation, in a good way, not Samsø bryghus-way, other places than in Belgium and thereabouts. And from my old ´hood, Vesterbro the answer would sound; "it can be done". Clear and highred like cherryjuice. Soft, righton sent of the fruits and some yeasts. The dryness lies upon tastes of a smoothh, herby, very belgian and nite cherry. Superb dry finish. Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 18, 2007 [Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 8800] Draft. A hazy deep red beer with a thin pinkish head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of cherries, but also lighter notes of almond and a light acidity. The flavor has strong notes of cherries, combined with a light a acidity and light notes of almond, leading to a dry woody finish. fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 12, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2007 Beautiful red color with a thick, small, creamy, pink head. Very nice cherry aroma, with some sourness, vinous, cherry kernels. Sour, citrusy flavor, in the front; and persistent cherry flavor too. It’s smoother than the Belgian Lambics; the difference is that it’s much less astringent.
