Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 1, 2008 Bottled. A dark golden beer with a medium off-white head. The aroma is sweet, but also with an acidic note - even though it is drunk 2 months prior to the best before date - but there are also more pleasant notes of malt, spicy hops, and lemon. The flavor is acidic malty combined with notes of citrus and light notes of caramel. A bottling problem I believe after readign Fin’s review.. Papsoe (10517), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 23, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a hazy amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Tart aroma with a whiff of nuts. Medium body with a light fruitiness but otherwise completely dominated by a distinct astringent acidity. 130608 yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 14, 2008 50 cL bottle.
