Commercial Description:
Boarding House Ale is featured at the Brewery Exchange, the home of Concord Brewery. This highly drinkable golden ale can be paired well with many foods. It makes a great session beer. Grains- Pale Caramel malts add a touch of golden color and a light grainy sweetness. Hops- Czech Saaz give a mild noble finish

(Rating #1091)

This is our favorite of the Mill City offerings, as it reminds us of fresh Bass from draught. It pours a medium yellow color with a frothy, white head. Good lacing behind a mostly diminishing head. Aroma is of light flowery hops. Initial flavor is lightly sweet, switching to a moderately bitter finish. Light finish with an oily feel.

On tap at the brewpub: Clear light orange with a rocky white head that sticks around for the entire pint, light grain aroma, starts and ends lightly sweet, medium bodied with a nice aftertaste.

A very cherry looking, great smelling brew which I had on tap at the brewery. I was impressed. A good malt backbone with the right amount of hops on top of that. Good brew.
