I also took some of this with me up the old man of coniston and enjoyed it at the top,

Despite the low gravity, this had everything you could wish for in a mild ale. Very dark brown. Ash and leather aroma. Sour ashy taste. Mid bitter finish. More flavour than many stouts. fiulijn (7500), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

The mouthfeel is smooth enought to limit that unpleasant flavor, that rises again at the end. An "ok" beer, nothing special. harrisoni (6947), Ashford, Kent, England

Bit watery in mouth. Quite bitter choc on finish. Fair amount of bitter dark choc flavour for a 2.9% beer. Lacks a little condition. But its ok. Some smoked charcoal KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

Smoke, chocolate, rather thin.
Could have done with some more bory, but there are limits to what you can do at this strength. Very drinkable.
